Grand Monate Entertainment is a dynamic entertainment company founded in the heart of Soweto with a mission to discover, develop, and promote emerging artists who are often overlooked by mainstream opportunities. Established through passion, creativity, and a deep understanding of the struggles faced by local talent, the company serves as a home for artists seeking professional growth, exposure, and artistic freedom. The company was founded by renowned producer and artist Sizwe Mabunda, popularly known as “Black Rosei,” who joined hands with fellow creatives to bridge the gap between raw township talent and the professional entertainment industry.
Vision
As an artist himself, Black Rosei understands the importance of mentorship, opportunity, and artistic development. He is also recognized as one of the founding members and producer of Social Kings, a versatile musical group known for performing multiple genres including Afro Pop, Amapiano, Dance, and contemporary African sounds. Grand Monate Entertainment further expanded its creative footprint by introducing the exceptional raw talent of Sphiwe Khanyile, also known as “Gatsha,” whose artistry represents the authentic voice and spirit of the township music culture.
